Commentpalooza, priceless
"Commentpalooza" is over. I didn’t make my 1,000 sincere comments goal. Not even half way. If I would’ve been aiming for 422, I would’ve made the goal, but hindsight is umm bad or something. I even have physical evidence, documented in scientific gold glitter pen. Here are the stats.
1. I left 422 comments.
2. I received 48 comments in return. All of these were very complimentary.
3. I met about 6 new people who I have decided must now be my friends.
4. I don’ t know about the number of links resulted in this, as of now I can detect only 5-10.
5. I added 22 new blogs to my feedreader. That is saying a lot, because usually only 1 in 100 blogs impresses me enough to want to read everyday.
6. I actually lost return commenters on some of my other blogs because I was always using the sarakastic.blogspot address in my comments.
7. I started to receive about 3 times as much junk e-mail, I really hope this is a coincidence.
8. The comments averaged 54 words a piece, for an estimated total of 22,788 words. The average book is 75,000 words. I wrote almost 1/3 of a novel.
Time will tell what the search engines think of "commentpalooza". Hopefully, I made people smile & lent some encouragement. As they say in the credit car commercials, priceless.
