Blogitive Review

Considering my review of Blogitive is so-so I didn’t know if it was right for me to link to them. So if you want to visit Blogitive you can search & find them. Blogitive pays you $5 per link to their advertisers &you have to leave that link there for a year. I was weary of joining this program because I heard that they didn’t have many related advertisers, that the offers were hard to come by, & some were afraid all the outgoing links would hurt seo. I wanted to be earning money NOW, so I finally gave it a try.

For two weeks, this was bliss. I made a little money by posting up to 3 links at the bottom of my old posts. Even though the offers were rarely related, I didn’t feel that it hurt the integrity of my blog. Blogitive & I were in love. Then came the policy change. Suddenly, there could only be one link per post.  Plus that post had to be solely about the offer.  This worked havoc for people who were trying to get the ads to blend in with their blogs. This was even more scathing because the links were so unrelated to the blogs they were being offered to.  I felt it would basically turn my blog into spam, so I stopped writing for blogitive. From an SEO standpoint, I can’t see how it matters. That is their prerogative. I just made the snap decision to turn this into a two part series.  Otherwise this post would be twice as long as I like my posts to be.  I have such a short attention span that I can’t expect other people to read it, if I can’t even make it through it.  I could have just eliminate that entire explanation & this sentence as well.  Anyways, next time I will post my pro/con list of working with Blogitive.
